Membership

Cargon Agent Membership

One membership, private to agents affiliated with Cargon. There is no software-only plan and no second tier.

Membership

$20/month or $200/year for the first 100 Cargon agents.

Pricing for future agent cohorts will be announced later.

Commission

Keep 100% of your commission — Cargon charges a flat $99 per closed sale side, and nothing on rentals.

Cargon agents keep 100% of their commission, subject to the Cargon transaction-side fee: $99 per successfully closed sale-transaction side. Buyer side and seller side are each counted once, and the fee is never duplicated when several Cargon agents work the same side. Nothing is charged on withdrawn or expired listings, cancelled transactions, rejected offers, or failed closings. No fee applies to rentals.

The membership fee and the transaction-side fee are separate charges. No Cargon fee covers insurance, errors & omissions, or legal costs — Cargon has not finalised that structure, and will say so plainly before anything of the kind applies.

How it works

Five states, kept separate

Applying is not membership, membership is not operating, and operating is not public. Cargon tracks these independently, and you can see where you are at every point.

  1. ApplicantYour move

You have submitted the membership application with your licence details. Nothing is public, and nothing is charged.

  2. Under reviewCargon does this

Cargon reads your application and verifies your licence with the state regulator. You can see the status, and you will be told if anything is missing.

  3. MemberYour move

Your application is approved and your membership is active. Paying for membership is not by itself a statement that you are operating.

  4. Operating agentCargon does this

Cargon has confirmed you hold a current licence and are affiliated with Cargon. This is an operating determination, tracked separately from billing.

  5. Public agentYour move

You have chosen to appear on this website. Optional, never assumed, and reversible at any time — withdraw and you are removed.

The application

What you will be asked for

The licence details are the required part. Everything else is optional and can be skipped.

Required
  • Your legal name, email, and phone number
  • The state you are licensed in, your licence number, and licence type
  • Your licence expiration date, and a photo of the licence or pocket card if you have one
  • Whether you are currently with a brokerage, and whether you will move your licence to Cargon
Never published on this site
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your licence number
  • Your leads, clients, and deals

Enquiries reach you through Cargon rather than by publishing your contact details.

After you apply

What happens next

Nothing about you becomes public because you applied.

Cargon reviews your application and verifies your licence with the state regulator. If something is missing you will be told what it is, and you can update your application and re-submit.

Once your licence is verified and current, and your affiliation with Cargon is approved, you are an operating Cargon agent and the product is yours to use.

Appearing on this website is a separate, explicit choice you make afterwards, from your own settings. It is off by default, it is never assumed from anything else you have done, and withdrawing it removes you. The public agent directory on this site is generated from that consent — which is why it currently shows no agents rather than a list of people who have not asked to be on it.
